The solid surface material Corian ® has beend developed by DuPont and entered into the market in 1967. The term "solid surface" covers all materials with the characteristics like Corian.

Solid surface is worldwide known for its positive features like durability, ease use and care, variety of colours,  seamless processing, reparability and highest level of hygiene.

In the early days of Corian it was mainly used for kitchen countertops.Today Solid Surface is a popular material for reception desks, washbasins and vanities. Hospitality furnishing, child care and health care facilities.

Pfeiffer is one of the pioneers for Corian Solid Surface products in Germany. With the Corian sink MIXA, our Company developed the first sink on the worldwide market, that combines the beauty of Solid Surface with the practically advantages of stainless steel. MIXA guarantees no discolouration of the sink bottom caused by coffee, tea or other food residues and is ideally suited for hot water taps like QUOOKER or GROHE RED.
